LPP Student licence terms

1. Sign in or create an LPP account, verify your email address (any provider is accepted), and accept these terms to receive a separate Student entitlement automatically. Creating an account alone does not start the access period.
2. New Student licences provide six weeks (42 days) from the first successful sign-in to the Student app. The server records the start and expiry dates in UTC. Existing grants retain their original period and expiry dates.
3. Reinstalling, changing devices or installing an update does not restart or extend the access period.
4. Activation uses your LPP account only. Internet access is required for sign-in and regular licence checks; there is no licence-key or offline activation.
5. When access expires, editing is locked. Your projects and settings are retained, and you can save an open project locally.
6. After expiry you may choose to subscribe to paid Desktop for £300 per year through Stripe checkout, renewing annually until cancelled. This is a separate, optional subscription; Student does not automatically renew or charge you.
7. LPP may explicitly grant lifetime Student access to an individual account. This exception has no Student expiry date, still requires online access checks, and does not grant paid Desktop or Cloud access.
8. Student access does not include paid Desktop or Cloud. Existing lifetime Desktop licences retain their original terms; new paid Desktop purchases are annual subscriptions requiring a separate entitlement and activation licence.
